Bounce Rate

The percentage of visitors who leave your site after viewing only a single page.

What is Bounce Rate?

A "bounce" happens when a user visits a page and leaves without interacting further or visiting another page on your site.

A high bounce rate usually signals that either the page content isn't relevant to what the user was looking for, or the user experience is poor (e.g., slow loading or confusing layout).

How to Lower Your Bounce Rate

  • Improve Loading Speed: Users leave if a page takes more than a few seconds to load.
  • Clear Value Proposition: Users should know what the page is about within seconds.
  • Better Internal Linking: Give users a reason to click through to another page.
  • Mobile Optimization: Ensure the page looks and works great on all devices.
