The average amount of money each customer spends per transaction on your site.
What is Average Order Value?
Average Order Value (AOV) tracks the average dollar amount spent each time a customer places an order.
AOV = Total Revenue / Number of Orders
How to Optimize AOV with A/B Testing
- Upselling & Cross-selling: Test different ways to recommend related products.
- Free Shipping Thresholds: Test if "Free shipping on orders over $50" increases AOV.
