User Segmentation

Dividing your audience into distinct groups to better understand and serve them.

What is User Segmentation?

User segmentation is the process of grouping your visitors based on shared characteristics. This allows you to see how different types of users interact with your site.

Common Segments

  • Device Type: Mobile vs. Desktop vs. Tablet.
  • Traffic Source: Direct vs. Organic Search vs. Paid Ads.
  • Location: Country, region, or city.
  • Behavior: New vs. Returning users.

When runab is (and isn't) for you

Our Philosophy

runab is built for simplicity. We intentionally don't provide complex segmentation dashboards. Why? Because for 90% of builders, the most important question is: "Does this change work for my *entire* audience?"

If you need to target a specific experiment *only* to logged-in users from France on an iPhone, you might need a more complex tool. But if you want to know if a new headline works better for everyone, runab is your best bet.

See it in action

runab shows you these metrics for every A/B test you run.
